Reconciliation Queensland Inc is a non-profit organisation that host events across Queensland in the forwarding of the Reconciliation movement. When RQI is seeking volunteers we will put out a call to our members and partner networks. You may also like to register your interest and skills with the Director at RQI.
RQI would recommend contacting your local Reconciliation group to see where you can assist at a local level. Sorry Day, NAIDOC week, Reconciliation week, reading for Reconciliation, community functions, art exhibitions, memorial services, funerals and fundraisers are all local events you can get involved in and support the community through your local Reconciliation group. Indigenous community organisations are also often looking for assistance and volunteers in a wide range of areas, so making your skills known to these organisations will also help.
