National Reconciliation Week 2017

Let’s take the next steps: Funding grants now available for local NRW events

Local reconciliation groups in Queensland are invited to apply for seed funding grants of up to $500 from RQI for activities that promote and support the aims of National Reconciliation Week (27 May – 3 June).

To be eligible to be considered for seed funding grants, applicants are required to send an email outlining their plans and/or ideas by the end of April (30 April 2017) to admin@rqi.org.au.

The total funding pool is $5000.

Local reconciliation groups will be required to report back to RQI after the event to:

  • outline the activities undertaken with the expended funds; and
  • to certify that the funds have been used exclusively for National Reconciliation Week 2017 activities.

Note that funds must be expended in Queensland and may not be expended on alcohol, tobacco products, gifts, employee bonuses or international travel.

See this link for more information about National Reconciliation Week 2017.

RQI acknowledges the funding and other support it receives from Reconciliation Australia.
