Thank you for your interest in the new role of Reconciliation Queensland CEO.

It is a very exciting time in the life of Reconciliation Queensland, as the organisation grows.

We are now at the point where we need a CEO, someone who will drive our strategy and operations and help us:

  • Support a state-wide network of reconciliation groups.
  • Plan and deliver flagship events including the Boundary Street Walk and Parliamentary Breakfast.
  • Develop education materials and communicate them to the public.
  • Support the co-Chairs to run meetings of the Reconciliation Queensland board.
  • Seek out new opportunities to deliver the strategic goals of the organisation.

If you’re here already, you’re obviously on your own reconciliation journey, so thank you for taking the time to see if Reconciliation Queensland could be the next step in your career.

About you

  • You will need to be an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person, as a requirement of the role.
  • You do NOT need previous CEO/c-suite experience. We want someone whom we can support to grow into this role.
  • You will need a demonstrated commitment to reconciliation, relationship management experience, to be very organised, and demonstrate a willingness to grow and develop your own skills rapidly.
