Our events and services are funded from a variety of sources including association memberships, philanthropic support, and the valuable and significant financial support of our partners.
To date funding from the Queensland government, our members, sponsors, partners, and philanthropic supporters has helped to develop our reach and to promote events into regional communities across Queensland.
These events include:
Seminars and Speaker Series where you can hear about critical issues affecting the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community, such as the Closing the Gap campaign and the history and future of the Aboriginal Shire of Cherbourg.
Yarning Circles which provide space for in-depth exploration of topics such as the history of reconciliation, racism and constitutional recognition.
Breakfasts to celebrate and recognise important dates including National Reconciliation Week and NAIDOC Week.
