2018 Yarnin’ Together Reconciliation Series – Mackay Forum
Reconciliation Queensland, in partnership with Central Queensland University, invites you take part in the 2018 Yarnin’ Together Reconciliation Series.
This year, the series will include a Q&A-style panel discussion on the topic “What does Reconciliation mean to You?”
Reconciliation Queensland’s Acting Co-Chair, Uncle Bill Buchanan, will also provide an update on the State of Reconciliation in Queensland prior to the panel discussion.
Panellists include:
- The Hon. Julieanne Gilbert MP – Assistant Minister for State Development and State Member for Mackay
- Philip Kemp – Descendant of the Yuibera People of the Mackay Region
- Lakeisha Kennell – Program Manager, Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience (AIME)
- Uncle John Kennell – Torres Strait Islander Elder

This event will be hosted by Reconciliation Queensland’s Community Engagement Coordinator, Stephen Mam.
