This event will be live-streamed to regional Queensland from the Queensland Parliamentary Annexe in Brisbane.

The Queensland NRW 2022 Launch and Reconciliation Breakfast’ is an Annual Event for Queensland, with support of BHP as a major sponsor of Reconciliation Queensland Inc. RQ will be simultaneously broadcasting and linking to a number of regional Reconciliation Breakfast events across the State.

This state-wide event will be bringing together representatives from many key stakeholder organisations, including peak community, industry, government, and First Nation groups, as well as major RAP organisations.

Come along and interact with many of the key players in the Queensland Reconciliation movement and RAP community.

All are committed to support Reconciliation Queensland’s shared vision and ongoing national commitment for a just, equitable and reconciled Australia.

Funds raised from this event will assist Reconciliation Queensland, as the peak body for reconciliation matters in the state, to support the work of its growing network of local reconciliation groups and committees across Queensland.

COVID Requirements

Please note that you will be required to check in via the QLD Check-in app, display your vaccination tick or certificate with your photo ID on entry. This is really important, if you do not have ID you will not be granted access to the event.

What do I need to bring with me?

Queensland Parliament House is a working parliament, as such strict security procedures are in place. All attendees must provide valid photo ID and full vaccination status as required by Queensland Government and Department of Health upon entry to the precinct.

What time should I arrive?

Please arrive arrive at 6:30am for a 7:15 start. It takes about 45 mins to get everyone through the security and Covid-19 check points.

Where do I go?

Guests must enter the Parliamentary Precinct via the Parliamentary Annexe, located on Alice St. For security reasons, guests are not permitted to leave the Annexe foyer area without an escort.”

What are my parking options during the event?

There is no visitor parking available at Queensland Parliament House. The closest paid parking facilities are located next door at QUT.
