Queensland’s National Reconciliation Week Launch Dinner 2023
Join us for a night of inspiration, connection, and a delicious meal at our Reconciliation Dinner! Hear from our panel of esteemed speakers including Aaron Fa’aoso, a well-known actor, director, writer, and producer from the Torres Strait Islander community, who is a passionate advocate for Indigenous rights and has been involved in numerous initiatives aimed at promoting cultural awareness and understanding. We’re also excited to have Jade Ritchie, from the Bunda Clan of the Gooreng Gooreng Nation, who has extensive experience working in Human Services and Aboriginal Affairs across Queensland and the Northern Territory, including remote communities in Arnhem Land and Central Australia. She is an advocate for the Uluru Statement from the Heart and a spokesperson for the Yes Campaign in the lead up to Referendum 2023. Finally, we have Dr. Jonathan Fulcher, regarded as one of Australia’s leading native title and cultural heritage lawyers, with extensive experience in mining, oil and gas transactions, renewable energy, infrastructure developments, joint venture arrangements, and asset and share sales and acquisitions across Australia and internationally. The panel discussion promises to be thought-provoking, and we’ll also have raffle prizes, silent auctions, and captivating entertainment. This is your chance to network with like-minded individuals and be a part of a movement for positive change. Last year’s tickets sold out in just two weeks, so don’t miss out.
