Walking in Harmony in Logan
Grounded in truth, walk together with courage is this year’s theme for National Reconciliation Week and for this Logan Walk, organised by Reconciliation Queensland and ACCESS.
Walking in Harmony in Logan
Come along for an enjoyable afternoon with walkers from many cultural backgrounds.
An hour-long Yarnin Circle will be held at the end of the walk followed by afternoon tea – visitors and community and Reconciliation groups are invited to listen to Elders reflect on past experiences under the Act and since.
Guest speakers include Uncles Noel Summers, Uncle Paddy Brown, Aunty Heather Castledine and Aunty Betty McGrady.
WHEN: Saturday, 22 June 2019. Meet at 1 pm to register for a 2pm start.
WHERE: Logan Gardens on Civic Parade, walking to Gould Adam Sport Complex along Wembley Service Road. The walk will finish with a Yarnin Circle at Gould Adams Sport Complex.
