Narragunnawali For Schools and Early Learning

Reconciliation Australia’s Narragunnawali program supports all schools and early learning services in Australia to foster a high level of knowledge and pride in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures, and contributions. Through the Narragunnawali online platform schools and early learning services can develop a Reconciliation Action Plan.

Teachers and educators have free access to a full range of professional learning and curriculum resources as well as subject guides linked to the Australian Curriculum and the Early Years Learning Framework.

Narragunnawali Resources

The Narragunnawali platform provides reconciliation-based curriculum resources for teachers and educators in all early learning services, primary and secondary schools. The resources can be used as they are or adapted to suit the local community context. Narragunnawali offers a range of practical ideas for reconciliation experiences, that can be filtered by subject, by age range and by RAP Action.

You will find a range of professional learning resources to further support the role of teachers and educators to build knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives in their service or classroom. The activities are designed to be teacher-led and can be used individually, in small groups or during staff meetings. Each resource encompasses elements of the Australian Curriculum, the Early Years Learning Framework and aligns with Reconciliation Action Plan Actions.
