Logan Youth Arm and Reconciliation Queensland Inc would like to ask that you show your support for Logan’s Indigenous community by joining us for a RECOGNISE walk on Thursday 27th of November. It is just a short walk from Logan Central McDonalds to Ewing Park.

Logan is a wonderfully multicultural community and we would love for you to join us on this walk to show that Logan’s diverse communities respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in Logan and across Australia. The traditional owners of the land we now call home deserve our respect and they deserve to be recognised in our constitution.

This family and youth friendly event aims to bring people from all walks of life, backgrounds and cultures together in support of our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders, our Indigenous youth and in support of Logan City.

For too long in Logan City, negative attitudes and conflicts have been showcased in the media.

Logan Youth Arm would ask that you help us to spread the word, bring your family and friends, your church, your school and your work colleagues down to Macca’s on Thursday at 5.00pm. There will be a free sausage sizzle at the park afterwards. Please RSVP to loganyoutharm@gmail.com

It is time for some positive changes … and it all starts with you.
