Six years after the initial Gari Yala report, the latest 2025–2026 data shows that cultural safety remains alarmingly low and unpaid cultural load continues to burden Indigenous workers. It’s time for Australian employers to move beyond 'marking the days' and commit to active truth-listening and truth-acting.
