Sara Frazer is a proud Quandamooka and Kaanju woman, mother, strategic leader, and advocate for systems change, dedicated to creating lasting social impact through reconciliation, education, and community engagement.
As Engagement and Education Coordinator at Reconciliation Queensland, Sara leads initiatives that strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the broader community. Her work spans strategic partnerships, communications, membership growth, major events, education, and organisational development, helping to position reconciliation as a shared responsibility that creates stronger communities, organisations, and opportunities for future generations.
Drawing on experience across early childhood, school, community, and tertiary education sectors, Sara works at the intersection of strategy, social impact, and cultural knowledge. She is known for bringing people together across government, business, education, and community sectors to create practical pathways for reconciliation and meaningful change. Through her leadership, she has helped drive organisational growth, expand statewide engagement, strengthen communications and membership initiatives, and develop new platforms that increase access to reconciliation learning and leadership opportunities.
Guided by culture, community, and the enduring knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, Sara believes lasting change happens through connection, courage, and collective responsibility. She is passionate about creating spaces where truth-telling, learning, and collaboration can flourish. By honouring the wisdom of our Old People and those who have walked before us, supporting those continuing the journey today, and creating stronger foundations for future generations, she strives to contribute to a future where people, communities, and cultures thrive together.
