2018 Yarnin’ Together Reconciliation Series – Brisbane Forum
This year, the series will include a Q&A-style panel discussion on the topic “What does Reconciliation mean to You?”
Reconciliation Queensland’s Acting Co-Chair, Uncle Bill Buchanan, will also provide an update on the State of Reconciliation in Queensland prior to the panel discussion.
Panellists will include:
- Uncle Joe Kirk – Elder and descendant of the Turrbal People of the Brisbane Region
- Lara Watson – Indigenous Officer, First Nations Workers Alliance
- Uncle Bill Lowah – Torres Strait Islander Elder
- Joella Warkill – Student, Aboriginal Centre for Performing Arts
- Kaava Watson – CEO, Brisbane Indigenous Media Association 98.9FM

This event will be hosted by Reconciliation Queensland’s Community Engagement Coordinator, Stephen Mam.

ENTRY IS FREE, but please RSVP ahead of time to ensure your place as seating is limited.
