The RQI Speaker Series presents Jeremy ‘yongurra’ Donovan

Please join us for another RQI Speaker Series event with our special guest JEREMY DONOVAN.

Jeremy Donovan – Indigenous Storyteller & Inspirational Speaker

Jeremy descends from the Kuku-Yalanji tribe of far Northern Queensland.

One of Australia’s most celebrated keynote speakers, he is an artist, consultant and performer.

Jeremy Donovan’s exceptional skill with the didgeridoo and extensive knowledge of his cultural heritage have earned him recognition as a master storyteller and performer.

He operates ‘Walking with Wisdom’, a consultancy that engages with government, corporates and the community.

Previously, he was National Development Director for Generation One, and was appointed Chief Executive Officer to lead the campaign to end disparity through employment.

Jeremy travels to remote & urban communities working in youth development, to build self-esteem & self worth, and to gain greater understanding of identity, the same battle Jeremy once faced.

His art has been featured in several solo exhibitions, and included in large private collections in California, Seattle and Colorado. He says that his art is ‘a medicine for his spirit.’
